He has worked with Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury Schweppes, Toyota, The Stanley Works, Timex, Walmart, Alcoa Consumer Products, Novartis, Capital One and Frontier Communications. Tom brings more than 20 years of CPG marketing experience to the organization. He has worked on both the manufacturer and agency side for a list of prestigious clients that includes ConAgra Foods, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Campbell’s Soup Company, Pepperidge Farm, Novartis, Nestlé Nutrition, Land O’Lakes, Pillsbury, P&G, General Mills, NFL and more. Tom is currently leading the ConAgra Foods and Quaker shopper marketing businesses for Catapult. Tom co-heads the Minneapolis office with Alicia Smestad and is responsible for P&L, operations and managing senior client leadership teams.

Dave leads the Catapult East creative team. He has 20+ years of creative ideation and development experience bringing fully integrated programs to life for some of America’s largest brands. Before Catapult, Dave led digital creative for several General Motors brands, and helped return Cadillac to global category leadership. His teams also helped lead many Unilever brands to prominence, including I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!, Skippy, and Wish-Bone. Dave has worked in TV, Web, gaming, and mobile—and has won industry awards for Kellogg’s, A&E TV, Coty Beauty, Scholastic, and others.

Heidi’s the leader for Catapult’s award-winning Shopper Marketing Division and overall capability. Leading and managing the decentralized customer-expert teams located in top retailer headquarter locations. Prior to this role, she managed the industry’s top shopper marketing Target Team, and previously created both Catapult’s and Geometry’s Target Shopper Divisions. With 25+ years of CPG marketing, sales and category roles including brand marketing, national consumer promotions (Pillsbury Bake-Off and Kids’ Bake-Off leadership), category sales, shopper marketing (inaugural shopper leadership for Pillsbury and Clorox) and supply chain management – all roles have been vital in shaping her consistent thought-leadership, innovative vision and pioneering business approach.

A coach at heart, Laura thrives on uncovering individual strengths and motivating all players to achieve maximum potential. Laura joined CatapultRPM in November of 2012, and leads our Chicago office.

Margaret has spent 20+ years in the consumer promotions industry working on everything from consumer packaged goods and beverages, to food service, quick serve and casual dining restaurant experiences. Seasoned in all levels of strategic and creative planning, program execution, evaluation, and business development, she has spent the past decade focusing on the development of the Channel & Shopper Marketing practice within the agency. Margaret is a trained team leader in the Integrated Marketing Communications process, an authority on marketing to moms, and serves as overall director of operations for the Westport office.

Equally fluent in strategy, insights and digital, Jennifer leads Catapult’s Strategy and Insights team in a newly created position, with overall responsibility for brand strategy, digital strategy, insights and analytics. She develops marketing strategies for clients, oversees delivery of client solutions and spearheads the transformation of insights to big ideas. Prior to Catapult, she honed her business strategy skills as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and marketing strategy roles at Euro RSCG Meridian and Monitor Company. Earlier, she headed strategy and analytics at Ryan Partnership and at Publicis Modem. She has developed strategies and brand engagement campaigns at companies including Unilever, Energizer, LG Electronics, General Mills and Nestlé.

A marketing innovator and visionary brand builder, Michael is spearheading a pronounced client-centric integrated marketing effort at Catapult, helping broaden and optimize client relationships across multiple platforms and channels. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in brand development, insights and digital marketing, most recently as CMO of Epsilon Agency Services. Prior to joining Catapult he led the creation and launch of Hyper Marketing, Inc., which was sold to Epsilon in 2013. He previously held senior roles at McCann Worldgroup, MRM Worldwide, and Grey Advertising, helping to lead businesses and propel global revenue growth for Diageo, Intel, GM, The Home Depot and Walmart.

Maura’s 25-year career spans both client and agency experiences, but her passion is firmly on the agency side. Starting her career at a small Chicago agency while still a college student, Maura worked her way up from accounting/billing to Account Director. Her expertise was felt at both DraftWorldwide and the GEM Group before she joined Ryan Partnership, Chicago, as Managing Director in 2002. Maura’s client experience includes S.C. Johnson, Sara Lee, Hyatt Hotels, Sears, Abbott Laboratories, and Kellogg’s. In 2007 Maura was tapped to join the Catapult team to help establish the Nashville office and currently leads the Nashville team.

Sarah currently leads the creative concepting discipline at the Catapult Chicago office. Stacey serves as a key integration and collaboration lead to the Epsilon Agency Services network and is a contributing author of thought-leadership articles for publications such as MediaPost and PROMO. Previous accounts she worked on at Ryan Partnership include American Express, Office Depot, Sears, RadioShack and Naturalizer.

Paula Ausick is known for overturning conventional approaches and introducing different ways to solving business and communications problems. She is knowledgeable and skilled in approaches spanning quantitative and qualitative research and turning data into decision-based knowledge. Paula is an advocate in de-coding information using such approaches as ethnographies, semiotics, archetypes, and storytelling. Paula was one of the early Internet pioneers in developing online research tools and capabilities, partnering with such services as AOL & Yahoo here in the US and in Europe.

Previously, Brian led the agency’s Minneapolis-based creative team. Prior to joining Catapult in 2004, Brian collected experiences across multiple industries and creative environments, including direct to consumer, promotion, retail advertising and design. He is an “insights geek”, who likes to remind people, “I thought I was going to be a mathematician.”

Prior to joining Etailing Solutions, she was at Colgate-Palmolive where she managed some of their most successful brands and directed the launch of new products both in the US and internationally.
