Problem

Catapult was charged with developing a global retail advertising campaign that elevated the role of the Intel microprocessor in the PC-purchasing hierarchy and drove purchase.


Solution

Developed creative that focused on the chip and all of the benefits it provided to consumers. Communication reached consumers at all touchpoints in the PC-purchasing process. Created unique online and in-store POS that captured shopper interest, communicated key information, and above all, prompted purchase.


Results

By focusing on the "chip as hero" and communicating key benefits that the processor enabled, Catapult attempted to raise processor relevancy. Initial feedback from the field and key global retailers has been extremely positive and sell-in of the program is exceeding plan.
